The Road

The Road

Though the road you walk is dark as night,

and you cannot see an end in sight,

even when the load is way too much,

and the ache inside just won't let up,

when fear and anguish take a hold,

and constant worries begin to rob your soul,

there is Hope if you let light shine in!

There is Strength that can be found in Him!

There is Joy behind those watery eyes.

There is Peace and Rest for weary minds.

Take a step and breathe for one more day,

and know that God will help you find your way.

For He knows your heart, your cares, your doubts

and He will help you work things out.
